GoDaddy is hiring Senior Pricing Analyst

Location Details: India, Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.​

You will be a key part of the Growth Analytics team at GoDaddy, using data to drive strategic and operational decisions that help optimise performance by reducing costs, increasing revenue, and increasing customer success. Senior Analysts at GoDaddy work independently and are given projects, you then derive the steps necessary to accomplish the desired outcomes and execute on those.

Your primary area of focus will be pricing, developing data driven insights that drive GoDaddy’s pricing strategy across customer segments, products, and markets. You’ll design, implement, analyse and make recommendations based on controlled experiments, develop data products that drive strategy around offers and discounting, undertake analysis of the impact of pricing on long-term customer outcomes and work closely with ML teams to develop pricing models.

What you'll get to do

  1. Design, create and develop data models, database tables, Tableau data sources, and KPIs. Partner with Data Engineering teams to improve data structures in a standardised way
  2. Conduct statistical data analysis, including forecasting, and impact analysis, to make business and product recommendations
  3. Build dynamic and rich dashboards. Show results in easy-to-understand visualisations that help our partners understand their business and its drivers
  4. Document, educate, and socialise the data, analysis and insights across other analytics teams and business partners
  5. Use data to tell a story. Create a consistent and compelling narrative of the impact of initiatives on the overall business
  6. Conduct in-depth analytics to identify actionable insights, suggest and design experiments, and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings to cross-functional groups
  7. Join forces with Analysts on other teams to collaborate on cross functional analytical projects

Your experience should include...

  1. 5+ years of relevant work experience in analytics
  2. Experience using SQL to discover, aggregate and extract data a must. Large dataset experience (e.g. Hive, AWS) a plus. You need to be comfortable with pulling, joining, re-shaping and analysing large, disparate and complex datasets
  3. Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Data Studio
  4. Familiarity with analytical techniques, including trend analysis, forecasting, and experiment design
  5. Knowledge of analytical programming/scripting languages e.g. Python, R
  6. Knowledge of Data Engineering toolkit a plus

You might also have

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, etc… Postgrad degree a plus
